Latest News on the Latest Game
Sunday marked the Timberwolves most recent home game which ended in victory over Gibert Arenas and the Washington Wizards. I was not able to attend this game but talked with a close friend who landed 4th row seats and saw the 98-94 win up close and personal. It was said that the supporting cast of the Timberwolves came up big in supporting Kevin Garnett. The key, once again, was defense while paying close attention to the Wizard's All-Star Gilbert Arenas, the Wolves were able to seal the deal on Sunday placing our overall standings at 26-30.
The rookie Randy Foye, now starting at point gaurd for the wolves stated after the game, "We needed this because we've got the best team in the league (Dallas) coming in Tuesday."
Let's hope they're ready for a dog fight.

Garnett are you leaving us???
Rumors are beginning to sound more like truths... The dispute of Garnett leaving for a chance at a championship some where else are beginning to look more and more possible. After a conversation about our failure to trade before the deadline Garnett replied, "We made no moves. Typical." He followed that with, "Thank God for opt-outs."
This makes it pretty clear that Garnett's choice to opt-out of his contract at the end of the season could be the end of our superstar's reign in Minneapolis.
Standings
Here we are end of February and past the All-Star break... Where are the wolves???
Ranked 3rd in the Northwest we find ourselves right behind Denver with a 2 win difference between us. After attending the Friday night game, we fell to the Phoenix Suns ranked first in the Pacific with a record of 43-13. Sadly I found myself watching two completely different teams. One was functional, one wasn't. Is K.G. ready for a change? Sick of a whining Ricky Davis? Tired of no stability with coaches?
The mystery remains unsolved. Stay tuned for the next chapter in this book of Timberwolves Trials.
